    VX Cruiser hull damage

Hey folks. I am looking at buying a ski that has a ding in the hull near the foot wells. The damage does not go through the hull, but it is a substantial ding for sure. I can't post pic right now b ut i do have a good shot of it. Should I pass on the ski? it does have the YES warranty but i know it does not cover the hull damage.

You have to look at a few factors, price of the ski, cost of repair, hours - not to mention the reason why the owner is selling.
There could be other issues with it that have not been disclosed too...
Buying a used ski can end up very costly in the long run if your not careful- so please do your homework - post up a pic, let the folks here know the price and they will guide you in the right direction.
    Good luck!

See below for deal. I think it is a bit on the high side, so there is no way I'd pay what he is asking. NADA is a bit less for all.

    2009 Yamaha VX Cruiser
    -Blk/Silver
    -55hours
-Small ding on right side, hull not penetrated

    2008 Yamaha VX Cruiser
    -Tan/white/blk
    -104hours

Will include 4 life vest, knee board, tow rope, EZ Loader Galvanized trailer with storage box.

    13k for all.

Not sure which ski the engine shots are from. They seem clean and on a good trailer. Thanks guys!

That gouge is a non factor. Only cosmetic but do repair as water can eventually enter the laminate and make it a factor.

Those engines look like crap with only 100 hours.
