    what cuased this case damage?

well they must have been thinking of me when they started the saying " if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck" ...... and that has been my day

Ok I finally got the water lines to the B pipe right with lots of patient peoples help I had it running on the hose to adjust the the ideal and make sure exhaust gasket was sealed tight after bit I hear "pop" look down and the flywheel cover part of the case is split open I never seen that before but it appears that the oil pump jumped out of the drive bolt best I can tell

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas why it would do that? or is there another problem I should be looking for?

drawing at straws trying to come up with a reason why I wounder if because my B pipe has a really short chamber (shorter then any I have seen) could it build to much back pressure ? would I be better with this other chrome protec pipe instead?

I'm guessing your flywheel bolt came loose, backed out and popped the cover. The flywheel bolt is what drives the oil pump.
