    Not turning over

I hear the solenoid click when i hit the start button but not turning over. It will eventually turn over and run after pressing the start button like 5 or 10 times. Any ideas??? Trying not to get stuck out in the water.

Load test the battery FIRST, then look elsewhere if that checks out good.

Iíve got a í07 4-Tec in a Speedster that wonít fire up, and Iím wondering if itís the starter relay. The thing is, mine cranks, and it seems the other older posts Iíve read about this, people say they just hear a clicking, without the starter engaging. Iíd appreciate some expert opinion on the subject. If the starter relay is bad, will the engine still crank?

    Hereís the facts:
-Ran great two weeks ago. Last mod I did was to disable the neutral safety switch. I permanently taped the switch down, so it doesnít have to be in ďneutralĒ to start. Iíve verified thatís still taped as it should.
-I hear the fuel pressurizing when the key is put on.
-Good voltage, Iím running two charged batteries in parallel.
-Checked the throttle butterfly, working right.
    -Cleaned and secured ground connections.
-Checked all fuses, checked all wire harnesses are secure in place.
-Spark plugs are Denso, installed two months ago.

So, hitting the start button causes the engine to crank quickly, just no ignition. Does my situation sound like the relay? I think an old post talked about jumping or bypassing the relay, to test... anyone know that procedure?

    Thanks!
