Is there a small chance that the washer disintegrated into fine particles, then stuck on the oil filter...hahaha

That motors gotta be taken out and ripped apart I've already been through that process twice just cause of the washers one motor caused $2300 of damage to both the oil pumps and pto housing

The oil filter prolly caught all the small particles but that was after both oil pumps tried to chew them up.
Your gonna need both oil pumps, maybe both side covers (I had to replace one), timing chain, I would upgrade to the '08 SC oiler. I'm not sure if the flywheel bolts are torque to yield, if so you have to replace those when you line the balancing shaft and crank during reassembly.
But go ahead and start taking the engine out. It's not really that bad. You can take the engine apart without a shop manual (after doing some research on here) but you can't reassemble without it.

You will need, 1x 420881100 S/C service kit, probably internals for both oil pumps, flush oil galleries between PTO housing & front oil pump, new oil seal on PTO oil pump shaft (water pump), PTO gasket, clean screens, new oil & filter.
About a 6 hour job total.
