    2010 RxT-X oil change

Is there anything that I need to do differently than how I did my 2007 RXT 215?

Do you have to have the BUDS to clear out the 10 maintenance even if you do the oil change yourself?

Yes, mine came on in the first five min. of operation. The dealer needs to clear it.
And check the level when you get it back from the dealer...he put too much in mine.

My dealer swore up and down that if I did it myself I wouldn't have to take it to him to clear the code for the first 10 hrs. That stinks. I am at 5 hrs now, 5 to go!

Well there is the chance that they cleared it before you picked it up. Like I said, mine came on @ 5 min. I rode for 3 hrs.
Took it back. They cleared it. NEVER came back on @ 10 hrs.

I too got a maintenance required light within a few minutes of the first crank, but I didn't correlate that to a premature 10 hours service required warning. That light was cleared by the dealer prior to the 10 hour service, and at 13 hours, the light hasn't returned.

+1 on too much oil. I've seen two dealers do this on two different skis.
