Reverse bucket question?
Why does Sea-Doo put the half moon on the revese bucket? Everyone seems to be cutting it off for a little bit of a top speed gain. What was Sea-Doo reason to put that extra bit on?

MY guess is that the mold is easier to make AND the reverse just works better
with that extra material to bounce the jet stream off of

I found it shifts easier, with the slightly smaller bucket after trimming. I like it that way.

kinda on topic. but before i put my wedge on i saw that it was in the way alittle so i cut the half moon out, now sense i put my 2* wedge on when i like go to take off after like a 180 or messing around alittle and my ski will cavitate alittle the reverse bucket will slam down, is this common problem and do i have to trim the bucket more or adjust it or what???

The RX bucket is the same as the RXP but BPR removed the area we are all cutting off. Go figure.
