    Question Question for those who have a Air- Fuel-Ratio gauge on your ski ?

    What air/fuel ratio do you try to run your ski at when at full throttle? Also what A/F numbers do you see at idle and at 1/2 throttle too? Thanks for the reply! Tommy Jordan

    I like running it lean at 12.2 at WOT but I don't recommend this. It's best to keep it safe at 11.7 to 11.9 if you're going to do any extended WOT.

    Midrange cruising I'm in the high 13's and at idle I'm at 12.5

    Idle = 12.5
    2000rpm = 12.8
    2500rpm = 13.5
    3000 to 4000rpm = 14.0
    4000 to 5000rpm = 13.8
    5000 to 5500rpm = 13.7
    6000 to 6500rpm = 13.4
    6500 to 7000rpm = 13.2
    7000rpm = 12.7
    7500rpm = 12.3
    8000rpm = 12.1
    WOT = 11.8

    Awesome info. This is kind of my goal as well once I start tuning my ski. Leaning it out in midrange should give me much better fuel economy. Midrange is pig rich from the factory and doesn't need to be if you're not in boost.

    Your engine might run very hot
    or injector failier,
    also with Powershot you unable to lean lower than stock setting.

    Is that 10.2 every where in the rpm range and on a stock up modded ski too?

    i know i the powershot cant lower it but when i get the r2 and the s/c wheel put on there it should not need lowering. the ski currently is in stock form thats why its so rich. nothing to do with the injectors and it dosnt run hot.

    tommy

    my ski has the basic supporting mods, but pretty much a stocker. it is 10.2 the entire rpm range it will flicker in the 9's upon burrying the throttle. this just goes to show how rich these skis are from the factory.

    Mine was bang on 11.8 through most of the rpm range. Until my powershot got grumpy, now without the power shot im at 12.2-4 at WOT.
    Gonna give the powershot another go in a little bit. Never did get it to settle into a nice high 13 for cruising....
