you will need the whole MPEM and ignition coils, also you need to fiberglass in a new engine mount

search for the 96 XP 951 conversion threads...there are about 5 of them and all are different setups. I actually used the 787 electronics but you need a MSD Ignition enhancer. other than that you need a 155mm pump with the prop, and a new motor mount glassed in for starters.

you can actually use the stock pump and get a different prop, call Dave @ IMPROS he'll hook you up. but I'm not sure if the driveshaft splines are the same.airbornexp is right with the 787elecs and MSD set up.

the whole glassing in new engine mounts sounds like a mission (and costly if not done d.i.y) is it worth swaping in the 951 or would modding the 787 yeald basically the same performance ?

it really depends...if you like tuning and running a 787 on the ragged edge yes its possible. or you can take 787 cases and strap a 920 VE jugs, head, and some other performance parts and get the same results...either way you go its all expensive

I'd like to see a pic of that. Skat SD 155 mm pumps are "E" pumps and I never heard of a 6 vein.
