    Fuel filter location?

    Where is the fuel filter located, I checked to see if it's inline but couldn't see it. I have an 06 rxp 215.

    the only filter is a screen on the bottom of the fuel pump and its not serviceable. it gets changed with the fuel pump

    Seadoo says you don't have to change it but I did both mine this weekend. The "How To" is great and I got the filters here - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATX-FS220/ and http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATX-FS242/

    This is incorrect.....You can change the filter...The filter is at the bottom of the can and is held on by a small lock type washer...Very simple to change...Hardest part is getting the can out...

    The filter on the base of the fuel pump is really just a strainer to keep large debris from entering the fuel pump. The main filter is inside the OEM fuel regulator on top of the gas tank, and is not a replaceable item. You must replace the entire regulator.

    anyway to add a external fuel filter for easy to service?
