Rebuild stock SC or install X charger ?

06 RXT 45 hrs, minus one ceramic washer. Been checking into what to do, rebuild or replace to X charger. Is there a complete x charger or do you just use your stock SC and then add X impeller and front housing ? Wheres the best place to buy ?

    Thanks jim

IMO for about $300 more than a rebuild go with the X charger and get it here - http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde..._cart&sort=20a
You're going to need to add 42 injectors and you don't have to have it but add either a 3" or 4" intake

You dont HAVE to run an external IC with the X charger. It has been run with stock IC by quite a few guys on this board before with no problems. Now to maximize the potential of that charger one SHOULD get an external IC.

All you need is riva metal washers, needle bearings, new spring washers, and maybe a shim or two. Set slip to 110 in/lbs and you are good. Click on link for online store at top of page. get spring washers and needle bearings from oem parts and metal washers and shims from performance section and you will be up and running for around $150. that is if the shaft is not dammaged. Give it a good look and if there is no visable dammage this should fix you up.

One other thing you forgot to mention...if you do get an external IC you SHOULD get an RRFPR also.
