    Gel coat questions.

    Hi all,
I have a question that has been eating me for a while now.

I have a friend with damage to his RXP-X on the top and bottom of his ski.

The fellow took his ski to get the glassing fixed, but can't get a number or colour to match the deck and hull to repair it to the same as the rest of the ski.

Where, what, name is for the colour scheme.

The silver top is the biggest problem aparrently.

    Anyone?

Mt experience, good news & bad news:

get your gelcoat at Gelcote.com. They're the original supplier.

The bottom is a solid color and shouldn't be a big deal.

Is the top a metal-flake Gelcoat? It's near impossible to fix a small area without it looking a bit smudgy. You can't sand the metal-flake without leaving it smudgy looking.
