2007 250X Problem - Dealer Has No Ideal, I Need Help!
2007 250X with 127 hours. Ski started running rough. It's sputtering lack of better words. Will only run about 30mph. If you nail it it just spits & sputters. Dealer has had it for 10 days and has done numerous thing. He changed plugs, adjusted super charger belt, air intake not blocked, then he found water in fuel. He removed the bad fuel, clean the fuel pump, replace the plugs again, and still the same problem. He said he has no ideal what the problem is, and has set my ski aside. I have asked him if the injectors could have failed because of the water in the fuel, he said he never had a problem with the injectors before. Here it is summer, and I have no ski. Anyone have any suggestion for me to tell the dealer.

I see you say air intake not blocked !
Have you actually checked to see if the trumpet on the entry to the air box is securely fixed to the box ?
cause the symptoms sound very much like its sucking against the hull....
if you easy the throttle on does it change the way the problem reacts ?
usually if its a SHARP dead miss you would be thinking ELECTRICAL
as were a fuel/air supply normally is a softer boggiey kind of stumble ( if that makes sence )
what is the boost doing when it starts to play up ?
hay they checked Fuel pressure etc ?

It's not the trumpet i've had that problem before. It is kind of stumbling, and a boost was about 11 ps i before the problem started.

I've not ask a question about it kds. I would assume he does have it. I'm getting ready to go by again to see how is making out with it. I just hope he has worked on it, if not im going to be pissed off.

Has the dealer checked the Exhuast manifold gasket? I have seen 07 Ultra250 (like mines) have this same issue. I changed or had it changed and been fine ever since. Come to think of it was right at 125 hrs. I have well over 250 hrs now, and the only thing I have changed is belts,(2) and went with new Rogue OEM pulley at 210 hours and everything is all good. The gasket next to the motor was the culprit for me. Since we were there we changed all of the gaskets from engine back to waterbox. Hope this helps.

No, i'm sure he's never checked the exhaust manifold. But i will say something to him thanks for your input.
