VX110 Impeller for high altitude riding
I almost blew it on an impeller purchase. I was thinking of buying the Solas 18/22 impeller for
my VX110 sport to improve performance.
After talking to the experts at PWC performance.com, they informed me that instead I should change
the pitch of my impeller to compensate for higher elevation that I normally ride in, which for most
lakes around here is about 6000 ft. They also suggested IMPROS to make the mods for me.
I am getting a Solas with a pitch adjusted to 16/21 (standard is 18/22) which is recommended
for elevation between 5-7 thousand ft. If I would have
purchased the impeller without changing the pitch to compensate for the elevation, it
would have been a complete waste of money and time.
Glad I talked to these guys first.
