    RXP Solas Impeller Question

I'm looking to swap out my stock 2004 RXP impeller with a Solas SRX-CD-14/19 impeller and have a couple of questions you seadoo vets might be able to answer:

Ive never installed one of these and have some pretty stupid questions.

If I order the impeller online:

Does the impeller normally come with a nose cone?, can I use my stock nose cone?, or or do need to obtain one?

What type of performance differences will I find with this new impeller?

Thanks so much for your help.

You should probably open up the air intake with a 4" at least...better grunt and on top....nose cone comes with...let's see...do you have the impellar removal tool?

You will like the impeller. It comes with a nosecone but if you run with no nosecone there is a small speed increase. You will need to get an impeller removal tool and a big hex bit to hold the shaft, not sure the size off hand. Take out the pump and remove the cone at the back and your there. Fairly easy job to do with basic mecanical skills

The Hex bit is 12MM you can buy a hole set of socket mounted hex bits at HF for about $10.
