surging at 3/4 to wot
Ok guys I have been searching and searching with no results. So here goes. I just finished installing my factory triples, f/a's, and riva cdi. I take it for a test run today, Im taking it easy trying to feel her out. everything seems to be fine. So I give her some more throttle still running great,I run for about 10 mins and then running about 3/4 throttle it just shuts off. So it cranks right back up no problem, I think well maybe im low on fuel so i ease back and put gas in it. cranks right up runs perfect idle, and half throttle, anything over 3/4 it starts surging. what would cause something like this?
I plan on doing a compression check first thing in the morning, but its just driving me crazy.

95 gram springs
and new needles. I forget what they are.
from research i read it should be rich so thats where i started to be safe

Looks good. I just know that the I-bodies have a lean spot at 3/4 throttle. Always have.

Yup. That is what caught my eye. Sounds like a mild seizure.
Avoid the 3/4 throttle range. WOT is usually safer.

ok, what should I do now? I was gonna check the compression in the morning.

Pop the head and inspect too. You might be fine. The gpr is very forgiving.

2. pull head and inspect for damage

-wires (they get old, so if you ride in salt-air they get goofy in a hurry)
-Water intrusion if base gasket assembled wrong.
-If you have a case leak, or some other leak, you can lean out. Did you pressure test the engine?
