Triton Elite: Is this piece broken?

I was looking at my bunks for my single Triton Elite trailer and I noticed the left bunk's middle joint looks broken... Is this piece ok or will it need to be replaced immediately? It appears to be holding the weight just fine, but thought I'd get a second opinion.

Its is extra support so the bunks don't sag. Great to have. Most trailers don't have so you should be fine.
