    Elko Pistons

I am rebuilding my 2000 Pro 1200 and want to install new rings (pistons are in really good shape). Does anyone know if the stock pistons are made by Elko (name is on the underside of the pistons)? Also has anyone used WSM, SBT or ProX pistons/rings in there ski's? I don't have any experience with any of these brands so any feedback is appreciated.
    Thanks

Yes, the stock pistons are made by Elko out off austria. You should be able to buy replacement rings from polaris yet, but they're not cheap. I've used WSM and Wiseco pistons with no problems. WSM pistons seem to be very good quality and comparable to oem.

And you can get WSM piston kits fairly cheap, I run WSM pistons with no complaints.

OEM rings will not fit in a WSM piston....so I would assume it won't work the other way around either.
