New England Fiberglass - great work

Had my hull open up while riding and flooded the hull with water, nasty little hole (3" x 6"), that turned out much bigger while being repaired. The previous owner had someone do a repair but it didn't last; funny thin powerslave and Joe Stang were by my house the previous week and commented that the repair didn't look quite right, they were right! I was going to repair it myself but since it was right on the part of the hull that hit the water once the ski planes off I realized it's too much structure for me to do and so I was on the scope for a repair shop and heard from a friend about New England Fiberglass. I talked to Bob, he has a spot in a marina in Norwalk and also works out of his house (awesome barn!). The total for the fiberglass repair (got really big once he started cutting the delaminiated fiberglass away (2 feet x almost 1 foot), and gel coat was 800. The turn around time was 6 days when I told him he had 2 weeks (waiting for my proks, etc), first time thats happened to me . I also liked how he matched exactly the original hull lines on such a large repair! The repair was right on the chine. Anyways I'm impressed and want to forward his contact info. He is located right off 84 in Sandy Hook. Tell him Ted sent you and his number is 203-426-8844.

Negative on the pic of the damage, but I'll post a repair pic tonight, hopefully it will catch the lines of the repair.

Pics don't show the repair the best, but the lines are evident, the damage was right where the last place someone would want damage, the chine line, it came out so straight with Bob. I still have to sand/compound the gel coat.
