Air filter and ride plate on 15f

I got my new K&N filter and my R&D ride plate installed yesterday and took it to the water today. Was choppy but found a slough that had some smooth water. I managed a 62.7 on GPS which is 3 MPH faster than stock. Acceleration felt much stronger also. I have the Solas prop to install. Hope I pick up a little bit more with it.

Not to bad,but starting out stock below 60 mph sounds a little slow as most 15f's run @ 61+ mph stock................

I don't know how big a differance it makes but I weight 230 lbs. and the weather here is always hot and humid. Also it is hard to find much smooth water where I ride. A friend that I ride with has a 250x and we are dead even. I am very pleased with it.

I'd be pleased with that also. Think these Ultra supa-charged guys are blowing a little smoke about there VERY few extra MPH, given that so many of their skis die at an early age. I strongly considered going that route, but realized I don'e have enough hours in the day to wrench everything I have now, never mind doing all that it takes to go 3-8 mph faster at more than double the fuel burn and TEN TIMES the maintenance issues.

HaW! I love speed, but not at that price!

Still, I hope they enjoy their skis.....
