    Reed Support

    I am working on a 1996 SLT780 and took the intake manifold off and only the outside cylinders have reed supports...is this correct? Or did someone forget some parts on previous repairs?

    Those are called reed stuffers & yes that is a problem. Thats crazy it makes me wonder what they were thinking.

    The stuffers keep the air velocity high. That CEN cyl prob ran like $hit....

    Get another stuffer.
