    Boat test discount

For those who haven't done there boaters test, me included. In the province newspaper a whole page add($$$) was taken out. I guess this is such a cash grab they can afford the advertisement. If you do it online and put in the discount code "VANCPR7" you get $10 off, but you have to do it online.

It is a test which you have to take depending on your age so u have a certificate for boating safety. I can drive a powerboat. But as of July 1 of this year I'm not old enough to ride my Pwc without a certificate.

They've made it mandatory here in Canada. They say its been in place for a while but they're now enforcing it. As well as your craft has to be licensed or thats another fine.

ive heard rumors that we californians are looking at a mandatory boater's test in the future. right now a court can only require it AFTER youve been convicted of a moving violation on the water.

thats one good thing about cali. no test or such. I unload at dock & turn my teenagers loose 14 & 13
no problems! Although I have spent many hours teaching them good & safe boating habits.

WA (state) has this in place and are continuing to phase it in over the next few years. In 2010, 30 yrs old and younger must have their WA State Boater Education Card (aka. boating license). In 2011, it's 35 and younger... and so on until 2015.

WA offers this course in the classroom and on numerous online websites that are accepted by WA state.

The online courses range from $25 - $50 plus $10 to get the actual WA Boater Education Card.

Tweeder... what online site is that discount code good for?
