with your lanyard plugged in press set 5 times and it will give you the trouble code and tell you which sensor you need to change.

After going through all the everything it comes up to "FT 0.0"..

After going thru everything?
After you press "set" 5 times it should either flash a trouble code or display "END" meaning that no codes have been stored.

P-1517 doesn't make sense since you have an RXP
That code specifies:
Compass out of range (the RXP doesn't have a compass)
Possible causes could be damaged sensor, damaged circuit wires, damaged connector, or damaged MPEM output pins.

My RXT just showed that code today.I was just going to post it,just got back from the lake.I was on my way back to the boat ramp, very low on fuel, the low fuel beeper went off a few seconds later I felt a skip,a hesitation in the motor(very rough waters)got back to the ramp, went to put lanyard in ski and it said maint. pressed set 5 times and that code(p-1517) came up. Jerry you say that code is for the compass out of range. I dont have a compass? are you sure?
