2007 Kawasaki Ultra 250x what is it worth with a blown motor

I have a 2007 Kawasaki Ultra with a blown motor. I would be willing to sell the ski as is. What would it be worth, it has 80 hours on it and everything else is in great shape. The supercharger is good as well.

Damn..that sucks. What's the damage on the motor?
I'm in the process of rebuilding almost the exact same ski for a good friend who appears to have cracked a piston losing compression on #1.
Doesn't seem like it's to difficult of a fix so far.

I think you would get more accurate answer if you could describe blown motor a bit more. Is the head damaged, etc?

I think someone needs to get on the bandwagon of selling rebuilt motors for these things. I am really surprized sbt is not offering it.

This is exactly what I think of every time someone brings up the rebuilt motor suggestion. To put a generic price on a rebuilt motor like SBT does, it would have to be like $4000. Then people would bitch about the price!

Sorry to see another dead Ultra though

Mine made it to 21 hours this weekend with no water or gas in oil.

yeah, thats true, not much left to rebuild when these motors go. Its too bad, such a nice ski with more and more problems. Hopefully the newer ones are holding up better.

The better question is... What do you want for it?

Yes i agree, how much do you want for it? What caused the motor to blow? What indications do you have that the motor is blown?
