Smile Would this work for closed loop cooling?

Please see attached. I was thinking of using this for closed loop on a GPRXP. Any thoughts?

Was going to set the jetworks at around 30 psi.

Personally I wouldnt run the strainer (and havent for 20 hours with no issues). Ive seen them suck up mud, clog, and kill a motor. The jetworks valve is unnecisary too.. On my ski I have the main feed from the strainer go into the heat x and straight back out the transome. Then a secondary line off the pump (strainer cap) feeding direct into the Ic, out of the IC to a T fitting. One side of the T dumps out the rite pisser and the otther goes to the exhaust manifold. The dump on the J pipe or 08 pipe straight out the left pisser. Simple, as neat as closed loop could be, it cools efficiant with a 15 plate, and with no issues...

What size are the lines that you are using?

Also, I like the valve to make sure that there was not too much pressure going through the intercooler and would warp it. Is that a realistic concern or worry?

I would ditch the strainers and check valve.

I don't run strainers either and no probs. Just make sure you flush it out good

The check valve is not needed either, once you start the engine, water is going to flow through the heatx and won't make a difference.

The lines look good, just make sure they fit well on the transom plate barbs. After I got them clamped, I gooped them with 4200.

Strainers Suck. Not sure the reason for the jetworks valve it is not needed. Why reinvent the wheel?

More than anything... I had one already.

I will probably end up using it (and another) for pump pressure relief instead. Thank you for the input everyone.

Are these line sizes big enough?

I don't & would not use a strainer. Also if you have the GPR pump, it has a strainer built in.

You don't think that the lines are big enough?

    Anyone else?
