Best Place to get gaskets for a 1200 Domestic Engine
Are all reed gaskets the same, AJS does not list Reed gaskets for the Domestic Engines. Where can i pick some up?

All domestic motors use the same reed gaskets...you can get them from a Polaris watercraft dealer, such as Babbitts, or order them from Moto Tassinari.

You can get them for the domestic triples from polaris. Part number is 5813068
and they list for $3.54 each. That would be for use with v-force reeds.

If you're using stock reeds, you don't use gaskets...the cages are rubber coated...that's why Babbitts doesn't list them. Slipped my mind the other day when I suggested it.

the rubber coating is pretty thin on my reed i used just a little bit of yamabond on the sealing surface to act as a gasket ,
