No the crank has a separate oil feed.

seeing as how the fuel and or premix would be injected into the cylinder and would never get to the crank going premix is not an option

All Ficht engines must use the oil injection system. Pre-mixing oil into the fuel is not an option.

The injected fuel does not pass through the crank case, which is where the oil must go.

On the two cylinder '800' Virage i and three cylinder '1200' MSX 140 engines, the oil injection system also feeds oil directly into some of the crank shaft bearings.

    worried oil pump not working

how can you tell if oil pump is working?
so the oil line that go to the intake are feeding just the crank?
should oil be squirting out of lines....i removed airt filter and poured a little oil into it and unhooked oil line and oil was only driping out
if pump is bad can you get it rebuilt of after market ones?
    soory for all the question

The oil pump moves oil very slowly. It does not squirt oil. Oil use is about 1/80th the rate of fuel use, give or take.

Mark the oil tank at the oil level, then go riding. After a few gallons of fuel have been consumed, the oil level should be a little lower than the mark.

If you have clear oil lines, you can introduce a small air bubble into one of the oil lines to the engine, then monitor the air bubble. It should move along and work its way out with the oil flow. If you lift up the oil pump arm, this will speed up the oil flow rate, but it still will not be 'fast moving'.

If you do not have proper oil flow, then engine will fail fairly quickly while riding. Usually the piston rings and cylinder walls die first from oil starvation.

I noticed a pretty good amount of oil in the hull of my 2001 Polaris virage and upon further inspection I found what appears to be an oil line sitting unconnected toward the rear of the ski. It looks like this line originates either in the oil tank or the top of the gas tank. After reading your post I suspect it may connect to the crank case somewhere but I just can't seem to find the port it connects to. Does anyone have any idea where it might connect?

Could be the battery vent. There is a hose that connects to the battery and runs up somewhere under the handlebars usually.

I'll check it out, would this account for all the oil in the hull though?
