    Adapter for the o2 sensor....

Is someone making the adapter to screw the o2 sensor into the exhaust? What size is the sensor and what size is the plug you pull out of the pipe.?

I have the R&D adaptor. I think Riva makes one too but not 100 percent sure. Not sure on size. It does its job and is easy to install. Once the o2 sensor goes bad, getting the RD adaptor off can be a bit of a pain but not too hard.

I have both Riva's and R&D's. Why does the Riva not work?

+1... the O2 sensors are the same thread pattern... I just think the R&D is easier to change the sensors with and to tighten than the Riva adapter...

the riva one would not work b/c of how close the sides are to the wideband. the wideband goes way down in there and there is no way to get to a socket on it to tighten it up. here is a pic if you look closly you will see the clearence issue.

it has nothing to do with the thread pattern, there was just no room to tighten the sensor in the irva adaptor. i attached a pic above.

I bought the Riva one as I thought I read on here in earlier posts that the R&D was impossible to get a wrench on to tighten, where the Riva one was easier to put a wrench on. I guess i'm totally lost now, as here it says the R&D is the better adapter.
