A roller? I'm impressed. I'm not a body man but i've messed with body work since a teen. I waited a couple days before I wet sanded my touch-up job. I used a grit that was finer than toilet paper I once used in Germany. It was at least 1200. I remember 800 seemed like it would finish the job faster but it was too scratchy. I was generous with the water and used little pressure. Take your time, turn on some tunes in the garage, beer is required.

What's the plans for the 94' next to the Batmobile?

yep a roller!!!!! i took my time preping the ski, i think i got a little over 10 hours into , preping and priming, and i had to spread out the painting between two days, cause the paint says to wait 16 hours min. between coats, i lightly sanded between coats. i have about four coats on it, two the first night, two the second. i need to get a good buffer, i have a shity craftsman, but its not the best. then i was going to get some miguires wax and polish it up, i saw on here a guy who painted the bottom of his ski black and polished it up really nice!!!! so thats been my goal to reach, wish i remebered the thread

I've always enjoyed an all black ski, nice work. Is that gloss or flat black?

A little tip if you decide to go over it in clear.... Wet sand everything you plan to spray with some 1200 grit, then rinse and wipe down with some tech clean right before spraying.... Clear is not really meant to go over regular paint, you need to give it something to adhere to, it's capable of filling in scratches left behind up to about 800 grit.
    Looks pretty good so far
