    RXT-X 260 fuel usage??

Just curious on the distance you guys are getting out of a tank of guys riding normal or as far as taking distance trips with these ski's. I know running normal is boring..lol but just curious on the miles you can get out of a tank of gas.

    Thanks

Not sure about mileage but, the other day myself, a guy on a 04 RXP and one on a newer Honda 1200(08?) all had about the same amount left after a days riding. I can burn up a tank in 3-4 hrs.

Thanks for the input. I just purchased a new 260 today and will be picking it up on Monday. I know I could run my SHO Cruiser at about 5000 rpm for 2 hrs and burn around a 1/2 or more of a tank of gas.

If you keep it under 5K, you will get excellent mileage.

RXP, RXP-X, GTX 215SC consisently got 60 miles before the fuel buzzer. With current mods we are getting 50 miles before the buzzers, can go another 10 and have a couple gallons left.

I got 65 miles when the light came on. Thats riding at multiple speeds. The computer says that I am using 15 gph @ WOT, and 6 or 7 at 50 mph.

My Cruiser was a great ski and I will miss all the bells and whistles it had on it, but I decided to give Seadoo a chance. I had not had a Seadoo since my 96 Xp, by the way, was one of the best ski's ever. I put about 60 hours on my SHO Cruiser and have also had my eye one of these new 260 and decided to give it a shot. I just hope now that I have purchased it, Seadoo doesnt turn back around and put something out for 2011 that will blow it away

something fishy about RXT-X 260 fuel gauge

I just ran my new 2013 RXT-X 260 down to get rid of the old gas from the dealer ... and after running down to 1 bar for about 5 minutes (I was expecting 30-60 minutes on two bars), I was only able to put 11.8 gallons in the tank. Is the fuel gauge not calibrated correctly or are these skis just that conservative?
