    Question Neutral safety switch disable ???

    Has anyone done this procedure ? any input ??

    I'm looking to doing it to my 05 sportster real soon, its giving me issues time to time now. What kinda problems are you having?

    Tom, I actually disabled mine yesterday. The hardest part is removing the 4 allen (hex head) screws underneath the white plastic cover, The neutral switch is held on with 1 phillips screw. I removed the switch and took a tie-wrap and electrical tape to push the little button in. and then just tie-wraped the switch around the same area to keep it from falling to the bottom of the hull to keep it dry. I think the factory must have used Loc-tite on the 4 hex heads, they where a bear to get out.
