Riva 3' inch Power Filter and carbon ring bellow clearance

I put my SC back on and reattached my Power Filter Kit.

Quick question: Feeling underneath the Power Filter kit, and the top of the bellow assembly on the drive shaft, the two seem to be touching. Is this normal? I'm not sure how it was before I removed the SC. I do know the bellow expands under load so I was wondering.

It's normal but you don't want the tube to be resting on the bellows.

Craigo, I like your fix but that won't work for me. The intake tube doesn't come back far enough to put a rubber spacer behind the bellow. The intake tube starts the turn right over the middle of the bellow if that makes sense. The intake rests right on the bellow. I can take pics if needed.

    Any other ideas?

I didn't have a problem until I put a 4" intake on. I leak now through the carbon ring because the intake sits on it. It leaks overnight in the water but get pumped out within a couple of minutes riding.

Did you have a 3" Riva intake on before the 4"? Did the Riva intake touch the bellow?

I don't know if the Riva intake rested on the bellow before I removed the SC and only noticed it last night when I was putting everything back together. Hmm.

I don't think the Riva 3" touched but I never checked because I never had a leak.
