    lock camshaft for leakdown?

    hey guys,
    to test all cylinders in a leakdown i can just lock the cam with the tool right?

    No, you have to test each cylinder at TDC so you cant lock the cam down!

    tdc on compression stroke right... that means the cam lobe is pointing down...?

    I always pull the rocker shaft for leak down.

    yea, i was just trying to avoid ordering new bolts

    Yea, I reuse mine up to 3 times. This is ME and My opinion on the rocker bolts.

    is this normal? this is the cylinder at the rear of ski, with cam locked (cam lobes on this cylinder facing down, and crankshaft locked as well.

    i know its just some air getting though the valve seats but thats only 4% leakdown according to this gauge....

    ok, moot point, 30% on the front cylinder with rockers out...phuck... motor number 2 in 2hours... anyone wanna buy it... wouldnt be hard to fix, im must tired of working on it pm with offers. i have a spare parts motor and head too...
