Have you ever wanted to race but never did?

How would you like to race an offshore race, in the Gulf of Mexico, with whatever you own to race? Sort of like a Mudbug with an endurance race?

There would be a class just for your situation plus racers just like you in those classes. Got a buddy grudge? Lets do a race of endurance on your jetski..not a 300 miler or anything crazy, just maybe 20-30 miles in the Gulf..plus a crawfish boil..all the usual suspects, trophies, prizes, friends...some jetski Legends to hang out with. Jetski trail rides through our intercoastal waterways..Hooter's girls sleep over in your rooms etc..

It'll be nominal fees to enter..cheaper rates because it will be the 1st of November 2011?

    Who would be interested?

Yup..we got something brewing here (Jerry and I) and need to know if anyone is interested? You won't have to race the actual racers, they will have their own classes. You will race guys and girls just like you.

Destin/Ft. Walton bch..first of November 2011..there will be Expert and Pro classes, but the majority will be Novice/Never racers.

We also have a couple of legends in racing gonna show up to sign autographs and hangout..a couple of them have always wanted to go to Mudbug but never did because there was no race..now we can have both..racers and enthusiast.

It is different...we just assume that people would never want to actually "race" their skis other than their local drags with friends and people you know. We're gonna have the fun of a Mudbug and the thrill of a race. Offshore's are about endurance and set-up..it's not about speed or really too much skill unless you're an expert/pro class racer. Make sure everything is strapped down..be in shape...and hang on as you go in a giant circle.

The main thing is...being with jetski friends..we don't get to do it that often, so we need to make things happen where we can.

Count me in just for that part alone and I'll be happy.. What about fuel is my only question.. But I'm interested...

Hay I think a 1/4 mile drag racer might want to get in on this. My local run is about 30 miles of river. A boil as well lets see speed, race, and boil as long as it is not in a dry county were are good
