Question is it ok if bov gets wet?

Just ordered the riva hks bov kit. Is it ok if the bov gets wet while riding? I always notice that a little water splashes in. Also, should the bov be sprayed down with fluid film? I ride a lot in salt. Thanks.

Yeah shouldn't be a problem. the air pressure coming out of the valve will blow any sign on water away from any water getting inn side.

Thanks richie. I talked to hks today and they said that their bovs arnt exactly made to get wet but a little maintence goes a long way. Maybe I'll see if I can fabricate some sort of cover that goes over the top of the bov... we shall see
