Hello All,

New to this. I got a 2000 XL from a friend that is not running. Was told was running last time out, would not start after cutting off. Did a little checking, I have compression in the front two cylinders and nothing in the rear. The ground on the rear cylinder had been hit by something because it is touching the electrode. Or so I think. She told me the ski was checked after this happened and the engine needs work. The spark plug may have been dropped because it was installed in one of the cylinders that are showing compression. Can I replace the rear cylinder and piston by not removing the engine. The ski has 125 hrs on it. Any thoughts, info, or links would be helpful. I have done quite a bit of car work over the years but never torn into a 2 stroke.
