will changining nozzle ring size hurt speed at a certain point

on my sho im running the stock nozzle now which is a 83 i believe ...lets say for example in the cool temps if i can run 8500rpm at 80mph with a 83 nozzle now my rpms drop in the heat and i can get it back up to the 8500 rpm with a 85 ring will i still be at 80mph or opening up the nozzle to much hurt me?

the downside of larger diameters is not a speed loss but rather increased cavitation

You will gain about 70 rpm but not gain speed you will lose about 2 tenths but it will go thru the rpms better
