    R&D intake grate question

    When I installed my grate the rear of it, is about an 1/8" higher than the pump and ride plate is this normal? no tech at R&D today to ask, any info would appreciated thanks

    Normal. Its supposed to hang down some. Apparently thats how they designed it.

    The grate should be lower than the shoe and the shoe should be lower than the ride plate, As water flows accross everything there should not be a lower spot were water can grab it and create drag.
