Ultra 150: choke or primer pump??

I have an Ultra 150 that is supposed to be an 2002.
My service manual refers to the choke knob, but mine has what looks and acts like a primer pump. Is this indeed a primer pump? If so, where do I turn on/off choke(s)?

sounds to me like the choke has been removed and a primer has been installed. take some pics and post them up here and we can tell you for sure. Also take a picture of the carbs.

yes, I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
I can't get to the ski for photos til tomorrow.
If this is the case how would I choke the carbs?

If you got a primer you dont need to choke it

Sounds like chokes have been removed. Yea you would simply pump the primer once or twice before starting to squirt a shot of gas directly down the carbs. As opposed to the choke restricting air creating extra vacuum and sucking more gas while cranking

    Thanks for the feedback gentlemen.
My plugs were fouling during break-in (added some extra 2-cycle) and I thought maybe I needed turn off the choke(s).
I looked everywhere and finally realized that they were removed. Probably just fouling due to the extra oil + low revs for break-in.
    Thanks again for the replies!

Yea expect to foul a few plugs during break in keep some extras with ya and if you get in a jam try removing them and cleaning them with a small piece of sandpaper/ rinse em in gas. try to reserve that for emergencies though
