    Sea doo rxp-x 255. Only got 7960rpm.

On my sea doo do i only get 7960rpm, and it should be 8040-8060 right? And i get 70mph with 7960rpm.

I can see stripes on my wear ring, but the impeller looks fine when i look in to the pump.

Is it the stripes who is the problem?

And is this the right ring to buy??

Stick with the OEM wear ring not a knockoff. The heat is probably why your RPM's are down.

Isn't a OEM ring that i linked too? The heat? On the machine or in the sea? Because my buddy was drivin with me that day and he got 8060rpm. and i get 7960. I can see marks on the ring, is it time to change? My sea doo has hit 21 hours! I took the 10 hour service my self, oil level is in the middle on the oilpin, maybe a litlebitt under.

no that link was not for an OEM wear ring. When I said heat I meant the weather.

If you know the wear ring has issues nothing wrong with taking care of that first.

Hot air, and/or warm water temps lower your RPM. The SC is getting hotter air, and the IC is getting warmer water.

Are you from Normay or in Norway, if you're in Norway I doubt it's the heat as a warm day there is about 70

Yes, damage to the wear ring can reduce performance.
Obviously you got something in there at some point to make those marks. You also need to carefully inspect the impeller for any damage; did you get any gravel or rocks in the intake?

Nope, I havent got something in the intake. But i was instalin R&D AQUAVEIN intake the other day, and test drive. Then i got 8060rpm. So can it be the heat who did it? And should the intake make a loud sound? Like the wather punches up the tunnel.
