Ways to sell skis from USA to Canada?
Having a bit of trouble determining how to get Canadian payment for skis selling here in the USA.
My local bank tells me 45 days for any type of Canadian check (even bank check) to clear.
My Canadian friend who wants to buy the skis is leary about taking a large wad of cash across the border and exchanging CA $ to USA $.
Any ideas? Im sure others have done this.

Your Canadian buyer can get a US Bank Draft from a Canadian bank. Most Canadian have a US bank affiliation, so the US bank draft is effectively US settlement. There's also International Money Orders or he can do a wire transfer to the seller. We've bought a few skis from the US and have paid cash (less than 5K) and a wire transfer to another dealer we bought from. Hope this helps!
