2009 RXT iS STRANGE FUEL GAUGE READING

My 09 iS runs great but recently noticed my fuel gauge is waaaay off. I shut it off for 5 minutes and when I restarted the fuel buzzer was going off and showed empty on the gauge. I know I had 1/2 tank of fuel left. After a few minutes of riding the fuel gauge went to FULL and stayed there. I know the ski only has 1/2 tank! Anyone else have this issue?

    Thank you!

Same problem happened to me and my friends iS... take it to the dealer and they can fix it... will require some parts to be replaced... seems to be common.
