    oil and fuel filters?

    Polaris 750 sl
I have a new/used Polaris that I have no idea on whether the oil filter or fuel filter have ever been changed. The ski has 7.5 hours on it so obviously it has been sitting most of its life.

Since there is not a Polaris dealer of any type here is there an alternative oil and fuel filter that can be used...SeaDoo, Kaw, etc...???

    Thanks for any advice!!

    Welcome to the Hulk.

    7.5 hours????? Really??? That's it????

Can we get pics of it? It's got to be near show room condition....

If it really has 7.5 hrs, I'm guessing the filters are fine. The hoses on the other hand are probably needing replaced.

Thanks for the response that helps tremendously. The fuel lines have been changed, the gray factory stuff is gone. I'll drop the fuel/water separator, gas it, oil it, grease the wheel bearings and ski!!!!

This is the best side of the ski. I don't understand a thought process that even though its under a carport that the sun won't hurt the finish. The right side is a little faded along with the seat.

    Again thanks for the information.

Carburetor internal cleaning and rebuild are strongly recommended.

Even with the low hours, there is a real risk of the carbs not being 100% good inside.

    Where are you located?
    Polaris parts are available online.

I just picked up some fuel filters from a local Polaris dealer. He said they use the same ones on their snowmobiles. Most likely will have them in stock.
