    wow stripped torx screw on mainfold

    well like the dum ass that i am i tried to take off my manifold and stripped 2 of the torx screws that are on there i didnt use the 6 star ratchet any thoughts,

    Try to hit them with a hammer and one bar on the top of the bolt . This will expand the bolt until you can use the Torx cup.

    i dont think im going to be able to get it out i cant get behind it to hit it with a hammer i just went and got the 6 point torx socket but i cant hammer it on there this suckks

    Can you reach it to slot it with a mini die grinder or rotary tool and a cut off blade ? If so then you could just use a 1/4 socket with a flat scrediver bit in there (or they make sockets with it attached).

    steve, just sell that spacer, i had several people want it after you got it, you will probably need to pull the motor to get a good angle at it, good luck

    You stripped the WRONG one's bro. You may as well put the rest back in and forget what you were doing unless you pull the motor!

    yea i might have to do that i know forsure if i had a good angle i could hammer the torx socket on there. ffffffffffuuuuuuugggee
