    Front Storage Compartment Gas Shock

Looking for the shock that holds up the front storage compartment on a 2003 Polaris Virage. It is part number 15 here.

I've looked at a bunch of OEM parts websites, and nobody has it available. Hopefully someone here can help me out

    Thanks,

    Matt

I might have something, but I won't be able to check until the middle of next week.

Definitely not looking to spend that much, plus I do not need the hinge. Thanks though.

Let me know whenever you find out K447, thanks

Unfortunately, I can't get all of the dimensions because mine is sooooo corroded and busted up. The only measurement I can get is CL in the following picture.

CL for the Polaris shock is 5 inches. My strut is corroded shut, so I can't measure the stroke, extended length, or shaft diameter.

The compressed length on the top model on this site is 5.25 inches, so I don't know if that would work or not??

I also don't know if the ends are just a standard size, or what the deal is with them.

And finally, I don't know what force to order. Seems like every site I have seen has a wide range of forces to order, and I don't have the slightest clue what force would be necessary.

    Anyone have any insight?
