Installed WaveEater clips, Now no holeshot

Hey guys, just installed the clips last night and went to take it out this morning for a run. I hit the throttle and it lags for about 2 seconds before taking off. I tried adjusting the cables that open and close the valves and it never helped. Anyone else have this problem??? Let me know, thanks!

The valves cycle by the way at shutdown. I had the cable backwards, and I switched them. Now, the valves open...once and a while, but still seem to get stuck or something. Never had the problem until I put the clips on. So if I hit the throttle out of the water, it gets up there but the valves automatically go back down and wont open for a few more revs. Also, if I rev it quick and let it go down, it almost kills now, but kicks back up to idle. Really stumped here.

Did you adjust them after you switched the cables back the right way?

They will not function properly and it wont run good if they are out of wack.

Have you looked to see how much oil deposits you have in the PV area? To much build up can help them stop moving also! To much oil sludge?

They were actually pretty good. No sludge build up. It hasnt seen anything but yamalube (only 32 hours on the ski as of today). I will have to print that out and go through it. seems like alot of tweeking. Hopefully all goes well and I can actually have a decent day tomorrow. Thanks alot Woody!!!!!
