Need Help hooking up a 4' Air intake
Ok guys I need some help I am trying to fugure out what type hose will work best. i see some have hoses fomr Pep Boys and some jus tlook like regular RV sewer hoses. How are you clamping the 4 incher to the Super charger. I know Shibby has some ideas for me.

some guys use a 4"-3" reducer onto the supercharger, I myself prefer running 4" all the way. This is how Jerry, JD1, Les Cook, and many others run their air intakes, 4" all the way... proven to be good for extra boost.
That being said, We run a custom made aluminum collar that clamps onto the SC inlet ad makes it have an outside diameter of 4" (see attached pic) ... a forum member here has them available if you want to buy his (rxpblast)
then you get 4" hose.... most of us call a place on long island near me and order however many feet we desire....
of course there's other alternatives
a rear air intake provides the most boost hands down... just be cautious of water intrusion... get some flo-rites and put them over the rear vent tube and it'll keep gulps of water from going on

Here's my set up. I've had good luck with it.
4" to 3" Silicone reducer, 7 feet Lowes drain pipe, and a K&N SS flame arrestor on the front end routed up where the old intake was.
The drain pipe has a 3" long non-rippled part on the end with little nubs for connecting to another piece of drain pipe. That's then end that goes into the 4" reducer. It holds tight with clamp, no problem. To attach the optional flame arrestor I used a Lowes 4" to 4" coupler. Has been on about 20 hours without a problem.
