    57.5mph GPS on stock gp1300r

2003 gp1300r with a beautifully clean motor, even compression..57.5mph with me, 180 lbs, flat-ish water, nozzle down one notch...bone stock. Sound right?

It was iPhone gps (max speed is the program)

Either your gps was off or it could be a bunch of different things like the pump shoe hanging low ,ride plate hanging low ,impeller banged up, wear ring clearance is to much, water and temp. also play a factor as long as your happy with the speed thats all that matters

The water was prob 90 degrees and air temp was about 92..

A 69 speedo sounds right for 57 gps,why don't you try neutral instead one down, and what was the compression across?

Is 63-64 speedo and 57-58 gps about right or no?
