starter solenoid bad? 08 rxtx
I'd say about 3 weeks ago i turned the ski off and it wouldnt start right away. after hitting the start button a few times it started so i thought nothing of it. Last time i was out i was at the ramp and when i hit the start button i heard a click noise and the ski didnt start. After messing with it for 30 mins or so the ski fired up and i didnt have any problems the rest of the day. So today i went to start the ski and all i get is a click noise coming from the solenoid and it wont start! Is this a bad starter or solenoid? I did put a volt meter on the starter post with the cable attached to the starter and when I hit the start button you will get a quick jump in voltage and then it drops down to nothing. with the starter cable off i get 12.5 volts out of the starter post. From doing a search it seems like a alot of people have solenoid problems but i wanted to rule out the starter before i start buying parts. Also if it is the solenoid does anyone know where i can get one cheap?

The same thing happened with two other 08s I know of. A new one fixed it.
