I have recently purchased a 2003 Seadoo Speedster 160 with 47.5 hours (verified) use. It has the Mercrusier 2.5 EFI V6. Please can you confirm that the procedure for flushing is engine start, water on , 1 minute, water off , 30 seconds then engine off. Does this engine have a sealed cooling system - I thought not. Finally I note that the accelerator can only be used when the boat is in forward or reverse. In previous boats I have owned, admittedly 4 strokes, some accelerator is needed when started from cold. Is this a problem as there does not appear to be a manual choke

Your advice is appreciated
