    About tired of this problem

As you know I've been having problems with my ski! It will run great for up to 40 min - 1 hr and then foul the plugs and not restart. Plugs are black and soaked. Is this a fuel regulator problem? I've been through the whole charging system.
    1. stator tested at .6 ohms
    2. new rectifier
    3. new AGM DEKA battery.
    4. pulled stator and mag cup, clean both of metal shavings.

This engine is a fresh rebuild with about 2 - 3 hrs of run time

I know several people are having this problem. All the threads die and no one has posted their solution (if any). I don't want to take it to the dealer, but it looks like I may have to. I need help sooner than later. So get your diagnosing hats on PLEASE!

    pre-mix or oil injection?
If oil injection be sure oil pump cable is adjusted correctly not adding to much oil.
There is a line on the pump that you line-up with a line on the bracket.

This is oil injected and fuel injected. I installed a new OEM oil pump during the rebuild. The new pump has 2 marks on it. I set it in the middle or near the lean side.

sell it on ebay and get you a carbed ski, fuel injected 2 strokes are just meant to be thrown out the window.

Not sure what type of carb you have on it. But check the high end screw. Most say do not adjust and stay away. As this screw blows most engines if not set correct. should be 1/8 th a turn from closed. 1/4 at the most. more open the more oil you get. less upen the less oil/fuel you get. If you do adjuest I recommend new plugs only run for like 15 min pull plugs and check. make sure they are not too lean. open a little if lean close alittle if foul. I mean adjust just a little. redo with new plugs. till you get it right. Then you can clean up all the plugs you used to get it right. and reuse them as you need.

That's not an option. I like this RFI. I have a lot of sweat into this ski and I'm bound and deterimined to get it running right.

When does it start again? after you clean or swap the plugs or after it cools down? Do you have spark when it quits running after 40-60 min? Get an inline spark tester. you can put it on before you ride, pull the seat when it starts to run bad, then check spark.

it will usually start after I change the plugs. It takes a bit of cranking though.
